Ireland, July 20 (V7N) —  Scottie Scheffler delivered an outstanding performance in the third round of the 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland, solidifying his position at the top of the leaderboard heading into the final day. The World No. 1 and tournament favorite carded a 4-under-par 67 on Saturday, July 19, bringing his total score to 14-under par.
 
Scheffler now leads by four strokes over Haotong Li, who finished the third round at 10-under par, positioning himself as a strong contender in the upcoming final round on Sunday, July 20.
 
Meanwhile, local favorite Rory McIlroy began Day 3 tied for 12th place at 3-under par.
