Dhaka, Nov 3, (V7N) – Biman Bangladesh Airlines will resume regular flights on the Dhaka-Dammam-Dhaka route from November 7, while its Dhaka-Riyadh-Dhaka services will remain suspended until further notice following recent airstrikes in Saudi Arabia.
The national flag carrier announced the revised flight arrangements in a press release, saying the adjustments were made considering passenger safety and the prevailing security situation in Saudi Arabia.
According to Biman, flights on the Dammam route will operate during daytime hours until further notice as part of precautionary measures to ensure passenger safety and security.
However, flights between Dhaka and Riyadh will remain suspended until further instructions are issued, the airline said.
Biman said the changes to its Saudi Arabia-bound flight schedules were necessary in view of the recent airstrikes and the overall security situation.
The airline requested passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia to contact their nearest Biman sales centre for updated flight schedules, ticketing arrangements and other travel-related information.
