Seoul, Dec 09 (V7N) – Samsung has announced the launch of the One UI 8.5 beta, promising smoother phone usage with improved privacy, performance, and daily task efficiency. The announcement was made in Korea on Monday.
Easier Content Creation
The new update simplifies creating and editing images. With the “Photo Assist” feature, users can create multiple images consecutively without repeatedly saving. All edits are saved in an edit history, allowing users to select their preferred version easily.
Improved Device Connectivity
One UI 8.5 enhances cross-device functionality, making it easier to connect Galaxy devices and other supported devices. The new “Audio Broadcast” feature allows users to send their voice to audio-supported devices, useful for group tours, events, or guided sessions. Users can also access phone files directly from TVs or other Samsung devices.
Stronger Security
The update introduces tightened security measures. The “Failed Authentication Lock” automatically locks the screen after repeated incorrect PIN, password, or fingerprint attempts, protecting phones and data in case of loss or theft.
Galaxy S25 series users in Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the UK, and the US can access the beta version starting December 8 through the Samsung Members app.
