Rajshahi and its Mango Significance:

Rajshahi is renowned as a major mango-producing region in Bangladesh, often referred to as the "capital of mangoes." The district is famous for producing high-quality mangoes during the mango season, which typically runs from May to August. In fact, a three-day mango fair recently kicked off in Rajshahi on June 25, aiming to promote safe mango production and exports. The distribution of mangoes by the SP aligns with the current peak mango season in the region, symbolizing a shared local pride and a gesture of goodwill during a period of abundance.
