Khagrachhari, June 22 (V7N) — The passing-out parade of the 11th batch of the 2025 Trainee Recruit Constables was held on Sunday morning at the parade ground of the Khagrachhari Armed Police Battalion (APBn) and Specialized Training Centre, located in Madhupur, Khagrachhari Sadar.
The event marked the successful completion of a four-month basic training course, during which 170 new constables, divided into four contingents, underwent rigorous physical, tactical, and academic training. The ceremony culminated in the recruits formally taking their oath of duty, officially marking their entry into the Bangladesh Police.
The Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) AKM Awlad Hossain attended as the chief guest and received the ceremonial salute from the newly trained personnel. In his address, he urged the recruits to remain steadfast in their commitment to the people and the principles of justice.
“From this day forward, you are not just members of the police force—you are servants of the nation. You must overcome fear, resist greed, and act with integrity. Use your training and moral courage in service of the country and its citizens,” said AIG Hossain.
He also emphasized the importance of building a fair and welfare-oriented society and called upon the new constables to be alert and dedicated in upholding the rule of law and ensuring public safety.
The parade was attended by high-ranking officials, including Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Paritosh Ghosh, Commandant of the Khagrachhari APBn & Specialized Training Centre, as well as senior police officials and invited guests.
As part of the ceremony, outstanding trainees who excelled in various aspects of the training—such as discipline, leadership, academic knowledge, and physical performance—were honored with crests and special recognition from the chief guest.
The training program included modules on community policing, human rights, crime prevention, communication skills, and handling modern security challenges, aiming to produce a force that is both technically competent and ethically grounded.
