Bandarban, Sep 16 (V7N)- Ten shops were gutted in a fire that broke out at Boli Bazar in Thanchi upazila of Bandarban early Wednesday (September 16).
The fire started at around 3:00 am at one of the shops and quickly spread to several adjacent establishments, according to local residents.
After receiving the alert, firefighters rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control after about an hour of efforts.
Several shop owners affected by the fire alleged that the incident may have been an act of deliberate sabotage.
However, the cause of the fire has not yet been officially determined, and the extent of the financial damage is still unknown.
