Dhaka, Oct 27 (V7N)- The government has transferred nine Superintendents of Police (SP) and two Additional Superintendents of Police (ASP) to new postings. Additionally, the transfer orders of two ASPs have been cancelled.
The Police-1 Branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification announcing the changes on Sunday (October 26).
According to the notification, among the SPs:

MM Hasanul Zahid of the Special Branch (SB) has been posted to Sardah, Rajshahi.

Mohammad Salah Uddin Talukder of PBI has been posted to the Mymensingh Range DIG Office.

AFM Al Kibria of Tangail PTC has been transferred to the CID.

Md. Abu Sayem Pradhan of the Gaibandha In-Service Training Center has been transferred to the Rangpur PTC.

Md. Shafiqul Islam of DMP has been posted to the Police Headquarters.

Kazi Muhammad Shafi Iqbal of the Police Staff College has been transferred to the CID.

Muhammad Kamal Hossain of PBI has been posted to the Gaibandha In-Service Training Center.

Ukya Singh of APBN has been transferred to the PBI.

Muhammad Ismail Hussain, who recently returned from a UN mission, has been posted to the Police Headquarters.
Among the Additional SPs:

Sanatan Chakraborty, attached to the Rangpur Range DIG Office, has been transferred to the Rangpur Metropolitan Police.

Mohammad Fakhruzzaman of the Industrial Police has been transferred to the Sherpur In-Service Training Center.
Meanwhile, the transfer orders of Md. Abu Yusuf, Additional SP of PBI, and Md. Zahidur Rahman, Additional SP of RAB, to the Police Headquarters have been cancelled, according to the Home Ministry notification.
