Dhaka, Sep 18 (V7N) – Russia has announced an increase in scholarships for Bangladeshi students in the 2026-27 academic year, inviting talented candidates to pursue free higher education at its universities. Applications can be submitted online until January 15, 2026.
Under this program, 200 Bangladeshi students will be selected to study in Russia across more than 20,000 educational programs offered by over 400 universities.
The initiative is being coordinated by the Russian House in Dhaka, the Embassy of Russia, and representatives of leading Russian universities.
To support applicants, the Russian House is providing several services, including:

Guidance in choosing suitable academic programs

Advice on preparing necessary application documents

Russian language training courses to help students adapt to study in Russia
Applicants must register on the designated website using a Yandex or Outlook email account before submitting their documents.
Russian officials described the scholarship program as “a great opportunity for Bangladeshi students aspiring to study abroad and fulfill their dream of higher education in Russia.”
