Panchagarh, June 25 (V7N) – The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) pushed 18 people across three border points into Bangladesh early Tuesday morning. The crossings occurred at Sukhani, Tokapara, and Joydharbhanga border areas of Panchagarh district.
Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) quickly detained the individuals and brought them to the camp for processing. Among those pushed in through the Sukhani border were five people, including women and children.
At Tokapara, six people were pushed in, while seven crossed through the Joydharbhanga border. All detainees are now in BGB custody and will be handed over to local police for further action.
The incident highlights ongoing tensions and challenges along the India-Bangladesh border.
