Sylhet / Moulvibazar, Feb 7 (V7N) — Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has outlined his party’s vision for governance, development and anti-corruption measures at separate election rallies in Sylhet and Kulaura of Moulvibazar district.

Addressing a large gathering at Sylhet Government Alia Madrasa ground, Dr. Rahman said his party aims to ensure justice, equitable development and stronger institutions if entrusted with state responsibility. He emphasized infrastructure development, improved public services and accountability in public finance.

At another rally in Kulaura’s Nabinchandra Field, he reiterated commitments to inclusive governance, youth empowerment and addressing corruption, while also highlighting regional development priorities such as upgrading Osmani International Airport and improving transport connectivity.

Party leaders said the rallies drew significant public participation, including women and young voters, as campaigning intensifies ahead of the February 12 national election.
