Rangpur, October 25, 2026 (V7N) – Minister for Women and Children Affairs and Social Welfare Prof Dr AZM Zahid Hossain is set to visit Dinajpur on a two-day official tour beginning Monday, according to a press release issued by the Rangpur regional PID office on Sunday evening.
The information was conveyed in a letter signed by Dr Md Mahmudul Haque, Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary) to the Minister of Social Welfare and the Minister of Women and Children Affairs.
According to the itinerary, the minister will inspect the progress of preparatory work for a "Job Fair" — organised for job seekers from the northern region — at the Birampur Government College grounds in Dinajpur at 5pm on Monday.
The schedule further indicates that the minister will participate in the Job Fair at 10am on Tuesday. On the same day, at 7:25pm, the minister will depart for Dhaka from Saidpur Airport.
The Job Fair is intended to connect job seekers from the northern region with potential employers, though officials did not provide further details on participating organisations or expected attendance.
