Speaking to journalists at the International Mother Language Institute in Segunbagicha on Saturday, the minister assured that the government has taken all necessary measures to fast-track legal proceedings and bring the perpetrators to justice under the existing laws of the land.

Minister Swapon emphasized that the state maintains zero tolerance for those who subject children and adolescents to inhuman torture. He highlighted that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has personally extended his condolences and support to Ramisa's bereaved family, reflecting the unified grief and sentiment of the nation.

During the media exchange, the Information Minister addressed several key issues raised by reporters regarding public safety, education, and political law enforcement:

Eradicating Child Abuse: The minister thanked journalists for highlighting public outrage over child exploitation, noting that media coverage plays a crucial role in building strong public sentiment. He mentioned that this collective awareness would empower the government to introduce even stricter, more effective legislation to eliminate child abuse from society entirely.

Cracking Down on Unregistered Schools: When questioned about unauthorized educational institutions, Swapon clarified that while expanding the reach of education is inherently positive, all institutions must strictly align with the government's specific rules, regulations, and approved curriculum. He confirmed that the Ministry of Education is actively working on a framework to handle non-compliant setups.

The Nasiruddin Patwari Case: Responding to concerns regarding an attack on Nasiruddin Patwari and alleged delays in the official police response, the minister stated that he had read the initial newspaper reports but was awaiting a detailed administrative brief.
