DHAKA, April 8 (V7N) – A delegation from the Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCCI) met with Abdul Khaleque, Secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division, to discuss potential collaboration in advancing technical education in Bangladesh.  

Led by Brig Gen Shah Md Sultan Uddin Iqbal (retd), chairman of BCCCI’s Standing Sub-Committee on Education and Research, the delegation presented a proposal in partnership with Beijing ArkGalaxy Technology Co Ltd. The plan outlined cooperation in introducing new departments, international standardization of programs, teacher training, technology transfer, and experience sharing.  

The proposal also included supplying machinery and educational materials, offering internships for Bangladeshi students in Chinese companies both at home and abroad, and creating employment pathways in China-related enterprises. Representatives of ArkGalaxy expressed readiness to provide technical assistance backed by Chinese funding.  

Secretary Khaleque welcomed the initiative, stressing the importance of integrating smart technologies and artificial intelligence across sectors, particularly agriculture. He encouraged stronger collaboration between Chinese investors and local stakeholders to maximize public benefit.  

The meeting was attended by BCCCI director Dr Md Rakibul Hoque, executive director Md Abu Taher, and representatives from Beijing ArkGalaxy including Yue Xueshan, Xu Wenxiang, and Dr Sadi of the Yi Tai Yi Lu Chinese Language Institute.
