DHAKA, March 20, (V7N) — Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam on Friday inspected Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, directing officials to further enhance passenger services while expressing satisfaction with overall management.  

During the visit, the minister toured key areas of the airport and reviewed operational activities. She exchanged views with officials and issued directives to strengthen passenger services, particularly during the busy Eid-ul-Fitr travel period.  

On the occasion of Eid, Afroza Khanam distributed sweets among officers and staff on duty, extending greetings and appreciation for their service. She also greeted passengers at the airport, wishing them safe and pleasant journeys.  

Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Air Vice Marshal Md Mostafa Mahmud Siddiq accompanied the minister. Senior CAAB officials including Member (Operations and Planning) Air Commodore Abu Sayeed Mehboob Khan, Member (Administration) S M Lablur Rahman, and Member (Security) Air Commodore Md Asif Iqbal were also present.  

The minister expressed satisfaction with the airport’s management and service standards, urging authorities to maintain the momentum in the future. She emphasized that passenger comfort and safety must remain the top priority during peak travel seasons.
