FEB 12 (V7N) - Unofficial local sources report partial results from 106 polling centres in Jamalpur-3 constituency (seat no. 140).

BNP candidate Md. Mostafizur Rahman Babul (Sheaf of Paddy symbol) is leading with 146,976 votes. His nearest rival, Jamaat-e-Islami candidate Md. Mujibur Rahman Azadi (Scales symbol), has received 49,286 votes.

Other contenders — Mir Shamsul Alam (Plough), Fidel Naeem (Mat-hol), Shiblul Bari Raju (Sunflower), Farzana Farid (Football), and Mohammad Daulatuzzaman Ansari (Hand Fan) — have not recorded votes in the local count so far.

The Election Commission has yet to release official results, with its tally showing zero votes at this stage.
