Dhaka, Aug 18 (V7N)- The sky over the capital Dhaka and its surrounding areas may remain partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy on Tuesday, with a possibility of rain or thundershowers, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department said.
According to the weather forecast issued for the period from 7am to 1pm on Tuesday, the day's temperature in Dhaka may remain almost unchanged over the next few hours.
The Meteorological Department said winds may blow from the south and southwest at a speed of 10 to 20 kilometers per hour.
At 6am on Tuesday, the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, while relative humidity was 90 percent.
The highest temperature recorded in Dhaka on Monday was 31.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature on Tuesday was 27.8 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, 2 millimeters of rainfall was recorded in Dhaka during the 24 hours preceding Tuesday morning.
The sun is scheduled to set at 6:29pm on Tuesday and rise at 5:35am on Wednesday.
