Dhaka, Aug 11 (V7N)- The Meteorological Department has recorded 35 millimeters of rainfall in Dhaka and surrounding areas over the past 24 hours. Light rain may continue in the capital today, Tuesday, with the sky remaining temporarily partly cloudy until noon.
According to the weather forecast, the sky in Dhaka and adjoining areas may remain temporarily partly cloudy for the six hours from 7am. There is also a possibility of light rain during this period.
Winds may blow from the south and southeast at a speed of 8 to 12 kilometers per hour. The day's temperature may remain nearly unchanged.
The Meteorological Department said the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 26.3 degrees Celsius at 6am. The relative humidity was 98 percent.
The highest temperature in the capital yesterday was 35.5 degrees Celsius, while the lowest temperature today was recorded at 24.8 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, sunset in Dhaka today will be at 6:36pm, while the sun will rise at 5:32am tomorrow.
