Dhaka, Aug 10 (V7N)- The sky over the capital Dhaka and surrounding areas may remain partly cloudy today, with rain or thundershowers likely in some areas.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department gave the forecast for the six-hour period from 7am on Monday.
According to the forecast, the temperature in Dhaka may rise slightly during the next few hours. Winds may blow from the south and southeast at a speed of 10 to 12 kilometres per hour.
At 6am today, the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 27.8 degrees Celsius, while the relative humidity was 92 percent.
The highest temperature recorded in Dhaka yesterday was 34.2 degrees Celsius, while today’s lowest temperature was 27.0 degrees Celsius.
Sunset in the capital is expected at 6:36pm today.
