Dhaka, July 30 (V7N)- Intermittent rain amid cloudy skies has disrupted normal activities in the capital since Thursday morning. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has said that the rainfall may continue until the evening.

The Meteorological Department provided the information in a six-hour forecast issued from 1 pm on Thursday (July 30).

According to the forecast, winds may blow from the south or southeast at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour in Dhaka and surrounding areas until evening.

The sky may remain cloudy or temporarily overcast, with possibilities of rain or thundershowers. The department also said that daytime temperatures may decrease by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius.

The temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 27.2 degrees Celsius at 12 noon, while the relative humidity was 92 percent.

The Meteorological Department said that 9 millimeters of rainfall were recorded in Dhaka and nearby areas during the previous six hours.
