Dhaka, May 20 (V7N)- According to the latest weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Tuesday (May 20), many places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions along with some areas in Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions, and a few locations in Khulna, Barisal, and Chittagong divisions may experience temporary gusty winds accompanied by lightning, rain, or thundershowers.

Additionally, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected at some places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions.

The day and night temperatures across the country are likely to remain nearly unchanged.

The weather department noted that the western low-pressure area extends from West Bengal to the southwestern part of Bangladesh and up to the north Bay of Bengal.

On Monday, the highest temperature recorded was 36.2°C in Jessore, while the lowest temperature was 21.6°C in Saidpur.
