Dhaka, Mar 02 (V7N) — The price of gold in Bangladesh has surged again. The 22-carat (best quality) gold has increased by Tk 5,424 per bhori (11.664 grams), bringing the new price to Tk 2,74,104 per bhori, effective from 10 am on Monday, the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) announced.
The updated prices for gold are:

22-carat: Tk 2,74,104 per bhori

18-carat: Tk 2,24,299 per bhori

Traditional gold: Tk 1,83,533 per bhori
Silver prices have also risen, with the 22-carat silver bhori priced at Tk 7,173, 21-carat at Tk 6,882, 18-carat at Tk 5,890, and traditional silver at Tk 4,432.
