Dhaka, Nov 29 (V7N) — The price of gold in the domestic market remains unchanged, with 22-carat gold selling at Tk 2,08,167 per bhori on Saturday, according to the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS). The latest price was fixed on November 20, and the same rate is being applied today.
According to BAJUS:

22-carat gold per bhori (11.664g): Tk 2,08,167

21-carat gold per bhori: Tk 1,98,696
-
18-carat gold per bhori: Tk 1,70,318

Traditional gold per bhori: Tk 1,41,648
BAJUS also stated that buyers must add the government-fixed 5% VAT and a minimum making charge of 6% to the selling price. However, making charges may vary based on design and craftsmanship.
Earlier on November 19, BAJUS increased gold prices, raising the 22-carat rate by Tk 2,612 to Tk 2,09,520 per bhori, effective from November 20.
Meanwhile, silver prices remain unchanged in the domestic market:
