Dhaka, Sep 27 (V7N)- Prime Minister’s Adviser Mahadi Amin has warned that legal action will be taken against anyone involved in wrongdoing by using the name of the government.

He said the Ministry of Home Affairs is monitoring the situation and that no one involved in such activities would be spared. “The law will take its own course,” he said.

Mahadi Amin made the remarks on Sunday, September 27, during a briefing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after Prime Minister Tareq Rahman returned to Bangladesh from the United States.

Responding to questions about the attacks on Radda Clinic in Mirpur and the studio of content creator Salman Muktadir on Saturday night, the Prime Minister’s adviser said the government would take action against those found involved in wrongdoing.

PM’s US Visit

Speaking about the Prime Minister’s five-day visit to New York, Mahadi Amin said Tareq Rahman had presented Bangladesh ’s potential on the global stage during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

He described the visit as fruitful and successful. According to him, the Prime Minister highlighted issues concerning different sections of society, including agriculture, technology, women and young people, while expressing his commitment to building a self-reliant Bangladesh.

Regarding the aircraft purchase agreement with Boeing, Mahadi Amin said the agreement was reached based on mutual interests and was not made under pressure.

He said Bangladesh’s national interests remained the government’s top priority throughout the Prime Minister’s US visit.

The aircraft carrying Prime Minister Tareq Rahman and his delegation landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 8:30am on Sunday.

Before returning to Dhaka, the Prime Minister and his delegation arrived at Dubai International Airport at 8:23pm local time on Saturday on an Emirates flight. They later departed Dubai for Dhaka at around 2:00am on Emirates flight EK-582.

During his five-day stay in New York, Tareq Rahman addressed the UN General Assembly on September 24 and participated in a total of 30 official engagements.
