Dhaka, Aug 22 (V7N)- Nepalese President Ramchandra Paudel has congratulated newly elected Bangladesh President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
The Nepalese Embassy in Dhaka conveyed the congratulatory message on Friday (August 22).
In the message, President Paudel wished Mirza Fakhrul success in carrying out his responsibilities as the newly elected head of state.
He said Nepal remains committed to further strengthening the longstanding friendly relations between Nepal and Bangladesh, as well as the deep-rooted bonds between the peoples of the two countries.
President Paudel also expressed hope that the existing close and cordial relations between the two neighboring countries would become stronger and expand further in the coming days.
