Dhaka, Aug 10 (V7N)- Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi met with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Secretariat on Monday.
The Indian High Commissioner arrived at the Prime Minister’s Office shortly before 11 am.
The meeting is believed to have focused on Bangladesh-India bilateral relations and various issues of mutual interest.
Earlier on Sunday, Trivedi met with Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman at the State Guest House Padma.
Following that meeting, the Foreign Minister had informed the media about the scheduled meeting between the Prime Minister and the Indian High Commissioner.
The Foreign Minister is expected to brief the media on the outcome of Monday’s meeting.
