Chandpur, Aug 09 (V7N) – Health Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Hossain has ordered action against the civil surgeon after finding alleged mismanagement and poor healthcare services during a surprise visit to Haimchar Upazila Health Complex in Chandpur.
The health minister visited the health complex on Sunday (August 9) morning and inspected its overall activities and healthcare services.
After observing what he described as mismanagement and deficiencies in patient care, the minister expressed his dissatisfaction and directed Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Nur Alam Din to take immediate action.
He also issued several instructions to officials and concerned personnel to improve the situation at the health complex and ensure better services for patients.
Later, Sakhawat Hossain visited Chandpur Sadar Hospital, where he inspected various departments and reviewed the overall healthcare services.
Officials from the health department accompanied the minister during the inspection.
