DHAKA, July 14, (v7n) – Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has fulfilled the wish of Bangladesh's gold medal-winning students at the Asia-Pacific Olympiad in AI by arranging their visit to the Jatiya Sangsad to watch parliamentary proceedings from the VVIP gallery today.
The special arrangement was made following the Prime Minister's directive after the students expressed their interest in witnessing a parliament session during a courtesy call on him on Sunday. In addition to observing the proceedings, the delegation also toured the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
The delegation included Bangladesh AI Olympiad coach Dr Mohammad Azam Khan, academic coordinator and mentor Tasnim Mahfuz Nafis, gold medallist Tridib Roy Arjo, and team members Naira Nawar Ahmed, Anonyo Zarif Akand, Naofil Rahman, Mubtasim Chowdhury Piyom, and Murtaza Abdullah. Family members of the students also accompanied them.
During Sunday's meeting, the Prime Minister congratulated the students on their achievement and international recognition for Bangladesh, appreciating their outstanding work and inquiring about their innovative projects, academic pursuits, research activities, and future aspirations while encouraging them to continue contributing to innovation and technological advancement.
