Rahman stated that BNP remains open to proposals, consultations, and recommendations that serve the national interest. He emphasized that regardless of political position, the party is always prepared to engage in constructive dialogue if it benefits the people.

Referring to a proposal from the Leader of the Opposition for talks between the government and opposition, he said the government would formally invite opposition members for discussions. He added that any proposal from the opposition would be carefully reviewed and implemented if it is practical and beneficial.

He further noted that all members of parliament, regardless of party affiliation, have been elected to represent the interests of the people. Therefore, safeguarding public welfare remains the primary responsibility of all political parties.

Rahman also acknowledged that differences of opinion exist on certain issues currently under parliamentary discussion. However, he stressed that there is a shared understanding among all parties about the importance of these issues, not only for Bangladesh but also in the context of the current global situation.

He concluded by saying that despite political differences, all parties in parliament are united in their commitment to protecting national interests and ensuring the welfare of the people.
