Dhaka, Apr 18 (V7N) — The government has taken several initiatives to curb the coaching business while also launching a major project to renovate dilapidated primary schools, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj said.
He made the remarks on Saturday morning while visiting a primary scholarship examination center in Demra in the capital.
During the visit, the State Minister said that inspection activities are being carried out at different centers to ensure that students are receiving all necessary facilities during the scholarship examinations.
Responding to concerns about overcrowding at examination centers—where many people accompany candidates—he downplayed the issue, stating that only a limited number of individuals were present and that it did not create significant inconvenience for examinees.
He emphasized that alongside monitoring examination environments, the government is focusing on improving the overall quality of primary education through infrastructure development and stricter oversight of private coaching practices.
