Tehran, March 21 (V7N) – The holy festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across the world with religious devotion and festivity, even as some regions face ongoing conflict and instability.
In Iran, Eid is being observed on Saturday despite the country’s war-like situation and continued attacks reportedly involving the United States and Israel. Despite the tensions, people gathered in mosques and open grounds to offer prayers and mark the occasion with resilience and faith.
Across Asia, Muslims in India, Pakistan, Malaysia, and Indonesia are celebrating Eid with due religious fervor.
In India, one of the largest congregations was held at the historic Jama Masjid, where thousands of worshippers gathered for Eid prayers. Similar large gatherings were reported across several states, including Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, and Kerala.
Earlier, Muslims in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, celebrated Eid on Friday. The festival was also observed on the same day by Muslim communities in the United States and across various countries in Europe.
Despite differences in dates and ongoing global challenges, Eid-ul-Fitr continues to unite Muslims worldwide in a shared spirit of faith, unity, and compassion.
