Dhaka, Feb 18 (V7N) — The interim government has officially concluded its tenure, and with its closure, the official social media page of the Chief Adviser will no longer remain active, according to a final post published on the page on Wednesday (February 18) at 10:55 am.
The message expressed gratitude to the public, stating: “We sincerely thank everyone for their support and participation in the past 18 months. Your criticism, support and cooperation have made our journey more valuable and enriching.”
It may be recalled that the interim administration assumed office on August 8, 2024, during a critical political transition, with Nobel laureate economist Muhammad Yunus taking charge as Chief Adviser. Since then, the page had regularly shared updates on government activities, policies, and public initiatives.
With the end of the interim arrangement, the shutdown of the Chief Adviser’s official communication channel symbolically marks the close of the transitional period in Bangladesh’s governance.
