Dhaka, Feb 10 (V7N) — A delegation from the Commonwealth Observer Group paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus on Monday.
The meeting was held at the State Guest House Jamuna on Monday (February 9), ahead of the 13th National Parliament election and referendum.
The 23-member delegation was led by the Chair of the Commonwealth Observer Group and former President of Ghana, H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo.
Also present at the meeting were Lamia Morshed, Chief Coordinator for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Office of the Chief Adviser, along with senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting focused on issues related to the election environment and the role of international observers in ensuring a free, fair, and credible electoral process, sources said.
