Dhaka, Feb 07 (V7N)- The US Embassy in Dhaka has reminded travelers that working in the United States on a visitor visa is strictly prohibited.

In a message issued on Saturday (February 7), the embassy clarified that while certain limited business activities—such as discussing contracts, negotiating deals, or attending conferences—are allowed under B1 and B2 visas, receiving any form of remuneration or employment from a US-based employer is completely forbidden.

The embassy emphasized that it is the personal responsibility of the visa holder to adhere to the terms of their visa. It also warned that violating these rules could lead to future difficulties in entering the United States.
