Dhaka, Dec 28 (V7N) — Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said that the government is committed to ensuring justice in the murder of Osman Hadi, adding that the investigation report will be submitted within the next 10 days.

He made the remarks following a core committee meeting held in the Ministry of Home Affairs on Sunday.

Lt. Gen. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury assured that the trial of those responsible for Hadi’s murder will take place during the tenure of the interim government. He also urged political parties not to provide shelter to fascists, terrorists, or traitors.

He added that the investigation is now in its final stage. “For the sake of the investigation, not everything can be disclosed,” he said, noting that 11 people have been arrested so far. Authorities have also recovered evidence related to the murder and seized relevant bank accounts.
