Dhaka, Dec 02 (V7N) — The Advisory Council has prayed for the speedy recovery of three-time former Prime Minister, former President’s wife and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, requesting the nation to join in prayers for her wellbeing.

The decision came at a special meeting of the Advisory Council held at the State Guest House Jamuna on Tuesday, chaired by the Chief Advisor.

During the meeting, the council decided to declare Khaleda Zia a Very Important Person of the State (VVIP), considering her current health condition, the need for uninterrupted treatment, potential plans to take her abroad for advanced medical care, and requirements for enhanced security and travel arrangements due to her high status.

All relevant government bodies have been instructed to implement the VVIP protocol immediately. Khaleda Zia’s family and her party leadership have already been informed of the decision.
