Dhaka, Oct 12 (V7N) – Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus has called on young people to be brave, far-sighted, and proactive in transforming their dreams into reality, saying that they have the power to bring meaningful change to society.
He made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation of young political leaders from Sweden and Norway at the State Guest House Jamuna on Saturday (October 11).
During the discussion, the Chief Advisor exchanged views with the visiting youth leaders on various topics, including the July coup, youth participation in politics, institutional reforms, and the upcoming national elections. The delegation also sought his guidance and insights on these issues.
“The world is changing rapidly. Today’s youth are not like the previous generation—they have grown up with technology,” Professor Yunus said. “Many say that youth are the future, but I say youth are the present. They already have all the tools to realize their dreams.”
Referring to recent political developments, the Chief Advisor described July as a historic turning point for Bangladesh and emphasized the importance of engaging with young people to understand their hopes and aspirations.
