Dhaka, Oct 10 (V7N) – A total of 309 Bangladeshi nationals are returning home voluntarily from Libya on a special flight arranged by the Bangladesh Embassy in Tripoli in cooperation with the Libyan Government of National Accord.

The group departed from Tripoli on Thursday (October 9) via FlyOia Airlines flight YI5040, and they are scheduled to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Friday (October 10) around 12 noon.

According to the Bangladesh Embassy in Libya, close coordination between the Embassy and the Libyan authorities played a crucial role in ensuring the safe and orderly repatriation of the migrants.

Officials said that all 309 individuals had earlier applied voluntarily to return home. The Embassy subsequently carried out all necessary administrative steps, including document preparation, exit permit collection, and maintaining regular communication with relevant offices, particularly the Libyan Ministry of Home Affairs.
