Gazipur, July 30 (V7N)- Veteran journalist Saidur Rahman Rimon, Editor-in-Chief of Dainik Bangla Bhoomi and Senior Reporter of Bangladesh Pratidin, has passed away (Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun). He was a well-respected figure in the journalism community, known for his dedication, integrity, and contribution to the field of news reporting.

Rimon died of a stroke at around 3 PM on Wednesday at Shaheed Taj Uddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital in Gazipur.

He leaves behind his wife, children, relatives, and a wide circle of friends, colleagues, and admirers in the journalism world, all of whom are deeply mourning his sudden demise.

His passing is a significant loss for the country's media industry, where he served with passion and professionalism for many years. Tributes and condolences have started pouring in from fellow journalists, editors, and public figures across the nation.
