Dhaka, May 06 (V7N) – The interim government has declared a 10-day holiday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, with approval from the advisory council.

The decision was made during a meeting of the advisory council at the secretariat on Tuesday (May 6) and was announced through the official Facebook page of Shafiqul Alam, the Press Secretary to the Chief Advisor.

In addition to the holiday announcement, the cabinet also approved the draft of the Cyber Security Ordinance 2025. According to the cabinet decision, offices will remain closed for 10 days during the Eid-ul-Azha holidays, but will reopen on Saturday, May 17, and Saturday, May 24.

Earlier this year, during the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, there was a 9-day consecutive holiday from March 28 to April 5.
