Baghdad, Mar 15 (V7N) — A missile struck the US Embassy on Saturday, damaging part of its air defense system, Qatar-based Al Jazeera reported.

In response, the Trump administration has warned US citizens in Iraq to leave the country immediately. Meanwhile, local armed groups have offered rewards of up to $100,000 for information on US citizens present in Iraq.

Attacks have intensified across the country, targeting not only Baghdad but also US military bases and airports in other regions, including the Kurdish north. So far, one French soldier has been killed in these assaults.
