Beirut, Mar 14 (V7N) — The Lebanese militant group Hezbollah has claimed it launched multiple rocket attacks targeting Israeli soldiers at the Avivim barracks near the border with Israel.
According to a report by Al Jazeera, the group made the claim after saying it had carried out 47 attacks on Israeli military positions on Saturday (March 14).
However, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it had intercepted several missiles early in the morning that were fired from Iran.
Israeli emergency services reported that the missiles were aimed at central Israel, though authorities said there were no immediate reports of casualties.
The developments come amid escalating tensions across the region, with cross-border attacks and missile interceptions continuing in recent days.
