Dhaka, Apr 17 (V7N) – Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is set to hold interviews with candidates seeking nomination for the Bangladesh Nationalist Party’s (BNP) reserved women’s seats in parliament.
According to party sources, the interviews will take place at the party’s Gulshan office over two days—Friday (April 17) and Saturday (April 18)—starting from 3:00 pm each day.
The nomination board meeting will be chaired by Tarique Rahman, with members of the BNP Standing Committee also expected to be present during the sessions.
Sources said candidates from Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal, and Faridpur divisions will be interviewed on Friday. Meanwhile, candidates from Dhaka, Chittagong, Comilla, Sylhet, and Mymensingh divisions are scheduled to appear before the board on Saturday.
The interviews are part of BNP’s process to finalize nominations for reserved women’s seats ahead of the upcoming parliamentary proceedings.
