Bogra, Jan 31 (V7N) — BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman emphasized the importance of connecting with voters, saying victory in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election cannot be achieved by isolating the people. He made the remarks during a view-sharing meeting with party leaders from the Bogra-6 (Sadar) constituency at a four-star hotel ballroom on Saturday.

Speaking as the chief guest, Tarique Rahman highlighted that the election is crucial and urged party leaders to ensure a strong voter engagement strategy. “I personally think this election is very important. It is not enough to sit back; we have to reach everyone. We cannot hope to win by isolating ourselves,” he said.

The BNP Chairman stressed that victory must be ensured by a large margin in all seven seats of Bogra, noting that the greater the margin, the stronger the reflection of public opinion. He also called on local leaders to take responsibility for managing the constituency, as he would be busy campaigning across the country.

The meeting, which began at 11 am, included a one-and-a-half-hour exchange of views, where Tarique Rahman listened to complaints and suggestions from grassroots leaders, emphasizing the importance of strengthening organizational networks at the local level.

After the meeting, Tarique Rahman departed for a public rally in Sirajganj, making brief speeches at Shajahanpur and Sherpur intersections, where thousands of supporters gathered along the road to greet him.
