Dhaka, Sep 26 (V7N) – Saiful Haque, General Secretary of the Revolutionary Workers Party, criticized the government for failing to address the aspirations of the youth and for its alleged mishandling of law and order.

Speaking at the National Youth Convention held at the Engineering Institute in the capital on Friday morning, Haque said the government has “poured water on the fire of youth’s consciousness.”

He further stated that the current administration is traveling abroad “wearing Hasina’s torn shoes” and is unable to ensure the safety of those accompanying it.

Haque also claimed that the Awami League will not succeed in rehabilitating itself by attacking smugglers, and accused the government of failing to bring to justice those responsible for burning bodies and destroying shrines under the guise of religious mobs.
