Dhaka, Aug 20 (V7N) – BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has returned home from United Hospital in the capital on Wednesday afternoon after receiving treatment for a brief illness.

Mirza Fakhrul had returned to Bangladesh from Thailand on Tuesday evening after completing medical treatment abroad. He attended a meeting at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan until 11 pm, but was later taken to the hospital when he felt unwell.

BNP Standing Committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain accompanied him to the hospital. According to doctors, the BNP Secretary General is now physically healthy.
