Dhaka, Apr 23 (V7N) — The price of gold has been reduced again in the domestic market, with the maximum decrease set at Tk 3,266 per bhori, according to the Bangladesh Jewellers' Association.

New gold prices

As per the latest adjustment effective from 10:00 am Thursday:

  • 22-carat gold: Tk 2,46,927 per bhori

  • 21-carat gold: Tk 2,35,671 per bhori

  • 18-carat gold: Tk 2,22,000 per bhori (corrected for clarity)

  • Traditional gold: Tk 1,64,521 per bhori

Silver prices also reduced

Alongside gold, silver prices have also been revised downward:

  • 22-carat silver: Reduced by Tk 5,715 per bhori

  • 21-carat silver: Tk 5,424 per bhori

  • 18-carat silver: Tk 4,666 per bhori

  • Traditional silver: Tk 3,500 per bhori
