Dhaka, Oct 29 (V7N)- A high-level meeting chaired by Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus was held on Wednesday (October 29) afternoon at the State Guest House Jamuna, focusing on preparations for the upcoming 13th National Assembly elections scheduled for February.
During the meeting, the Chief Advisor reviewed the overall organizational arrangements for the elections. Election Commission Secretary Akhtar Ahmed updated the participants on the commission’s progress, while Home Affairs Advisor Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury discussed law and order issues.
Other attendees included National Security Advisor Dr. Khalilur Rahman, Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor Fayez Ahmed Tayyab, Cultural Advisor Mostafa Sarwar Farooqui, IGP Baharul Alam, RAB Director General AKM Shahidur Rahman, Coast Guard Director General Rear Admiral Md. Ziaul Haque, BGB Director General Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui, and other relevant officials.
