Natore, Sep 06 (V7N) – Housing and Public Works Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan inaugurated the ‘July Martyrs’ Monument’ in Natore on Saturday, emphasizing that while the people of Bangladesh have been freed from fascism, the conspiracy of defeated fascists continues. He expressed confidence that the nation’s people and youth will resist and suppress such threats.

Speaking at the event, Adilur Rahman said, “The July warriors are the sun children of our country. The nation will remember them forever. Although fascism has been defeated, not all aspirations have been fulfilled yet. Justice and reform are still pending, but efforts are being made to make justice visible—and progress is being seen.”

He further highlighted that reform efforts are ongoing alongside preparations for the upcoming national elections, expressing hope that the elections will be held on schedule while ensuring justice and reforms are advanced.

The ceremony was attended by Public Works Secretary Md. Nazrul Islam, Deputy Commissioner Asma Shaheen, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Tariqul Islam, and family members of the July Martyrs.
