Dhaka, Aug 29 (V7N) – Foreign Affairs Advisor Touhid Hossain has said that the youth will play the key role in bringing about qualitative and transformative changes in Bangladesh’s politics in the coming years.
He made the remarks while addressing the Bengal Delta Conference-2025 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Dhaka, on Friday morning.
“Even after so many years of independence, our constitutional and other institutions have not been sufficiently strengthened. Changing the political culture of Bangladesh is essential. Politics does not end with assuming office—it also requires institution building,” the advisor stressed.
On the Rohingya crisis, Touhid Hossain warned that without successful repatriation, the people of the region may continue to bear the burden of the crisis for at least the next decade.
