Dhaka, Aug 08 (V7N) – The National Consensus Commission is set to release its final July charter in the coming days, according to the commission’s vice-chairman, Ali Riaz.
Speaking at a press conference at the LD Hall of Parliament House on Friday morning, Riaz said the commission will hold a meeting with experts next week to discuss the implementation of its recommendations.
He noted that the government has informed the commission that 18 recommendations have been fully implemented, 12 partially implemented, and 92 are in progress.
The draft charter was sent to political parties on July 28, and their feedback has been collected. “The complete draft will be sent to the parties within the next few days. After that, we will hold discussions on the implementation. We hope to issue the final charter very soon,” Riaz stated.
